As it is the last week this week was very much focused on getting the game uploading to itch and getting the final tweaks implemented. As a result of this my contribution could be perceived as minimal however at this stage of production there is very little I can do as a designer as all of the functions and values have been established. In regards to the itch page during this week it was decided that the group should change the design of the itch page in order to better suit the game. The first iteration of this change included an image taken of death outside of the warehouse. I personally liked this version at first as it felt like it fit the art style and tone of the game.

From this point however discussions around the displaying of violence on the itch page was discussed and as there is a large amount in the game it felt like it it needed to be portrayed on the page to set the tone for the player. Furthermore, by having the main player character in an action pose in the background which is visible to the player it makes the viewer familiar with the character before playing the game.

Additionally, in regards to the itch.io page to complete the look and stay in line with the brief some images and a trailer (which was uploaded to a YouTube channel in which I made) for the game were uploaded to the page. This was also alongside changing the display image for the game so that it would entice more people to play the game if it looked better than the one we had.

During this week I also contributed to the attempt of getting animations to work inside of unity as both artist and programmers were struggling to get it working. by going through unity manual for roughly around 5 hours and attempting multiple different methods we were in fact unable to get it working so we had to rely on help from David to get them working.

Overall for both weeks and the entire project I feel that I have worked alongside the scrum workflow setting targets on a weekly basis and in general completing them accordingly. Furthermore, I feel that in the game in which we have published on the itch.io I contributed a significant amount in the design sector sharing my ideas and making assets when needed.
