Breach - Week 12 & 13 Development Blog

As stated last week I have ultimately grouped these two weeks together based on the fact that no progress was made to the project during this time period. This is a result of a few factors; feeling burnout, having other projects that were due during this time and also having commitments to my independent studio Fully Human Games in which we had a deadline for a very important and exciting opportunity.


Whilst this is somewhat problematic, I have plans to rectify this decision by adding larger chunks of content every week in comparison to prior to this break. By committing larger amounts weekly it should mean that I somewhat catch up to the time that I have lossed and subsequently reduce the blow of losing two weeks development time.


This will begin next week. I am setting the task of getting a level environment into the game so I can begin working towards a gameplay loop. The establishing of a gameplay loop is my overarching goal for the upcoming weeks so that the game has something playable which can be added on to make the experience more refined and enjoyable.
